A Higher Education Advisory Board, chaired by former Yale president Rick Levin, will guide the ethical deployment of Anthropic's Claude AI in educational settings. The board includes prominent figures like ex-Rice University leader David Leebron and Michigan's James DeVaney.

Concurrently, the company introduced AI Fluency courses designed to enhance critical thinking alongside technological adoption. These moves signal a strategic push to shape AI's role in pedagogy rather than merely react to its disruption.
